I've been running into blooming cacti of various kinds lately, either on blogs or facebook. I've decided that I really need one desperately. My granddaughter works at a plant store in California and she says that they have a variety there. We are going to visit there in a few weeks. I think I'll get one then. So sorry you might have surgery, yet if it cures the pain, that I'm all for it. It's just rotten that you have to go through it. Your stitching is so beautiful, you must be able to continue. Take care dear!Ellenhttp://injoyinmylife.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4339813304048193885.post-45462036431457959442012-05-10T11:51:44.302-07:002012-05-10T11:51:44.302-07:00I'm finally catching up on all your blog posts...I'm finally catching up on all your blog posts for the week, Barb... Gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that surgery may be in your future--and hand surgery no less... What could be worse for a stitcher? But, if it will cure the pain, it will be a small sacrifice in exchange for many more years of stitching pleasure!

I've never seen a Christmas cactus that color--it is so soft and pretty... I wonder if it will bloom again when it's supposed to. With the crazy weather patterns we've had this year, no wonder it's mixed up!

Love your progress on Penny America--I can see why you're enjoying stitching it so much!Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10368237913096460512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4339813304048193885.post-47406944583018522152012-05-10T07:37:32.177-07:002012-05-10T07:37:32.177-07:00I saw your post from another blog that I follow. They keep producing "leaves" all the time. They are a beautiful peachy pink color. Did you do anything special like changing there location to another part of the house.
Sorry to hear of your upcoming hand surgery. I work in surgery assisting surgeons with this type of operation. I hate to have to tell you, you will be out of commission for a few weeks recoverying most likely, but it will be worth it in the end baring complications. Just follow the doctors instructions and don't cheat.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4339813304048193885.post-59644447770503892992012-05-09T20:09:53.933-07:002012-05-09T20:09:53.933-07:00Wow!
