Update on Halloween Town

Thanks to all of you who wished Caleb a Happy Birthday.  According to his Mom , the day was great!!He had his first experience with a gift ard and hearing him describe it was very cute!  I also thank all of you who take time to read my blog. 
 While I wait for the Part 3 of the mystery sampler, I'm back to working on Halloween Town.  I am making a few changes.  The design is all black with a bit of green including green leaves and black pumpkins.  I decided to use Weeks Copper for both the leaves and the pumpkins. The leaves especially will look more like fall. I'm also using gold for the witches broom straw and the moon.  I wanted to add just a bit of color. 
Those of you who like my scenery photos will enjoy the next few days.  The SBA and I are going up to Whistler,BC.  If you watched the Vancouver Olympics you will have seen Whistler.  It is where the downhill activities were held.  It is suppose to be quite beautiful in the summer.  This little trip is to celebrate 34 years of marriage!!( I think we deserve it).  I hope to have lots of great pictures even though clouds are in the weather prediction.
