Many thanks to all of you who wished me well. I am doing so much better but it seems that lots of people out here are getting the same thing. It is a nasty virus that visits your chest and then makes it's home in your sinuses! Maybe it is partly because while the rest of you have been freezing we are sitting at the mid 40's. It has been very rainy and gloomy the last few days. Today is a HUGE day around here. The Seahawks are playing the Saints and we are right in the middle of a rain/wind storm!!! I said I would not go even if I had tickets but the DH and the SIL would go no matter what! The good news is none of us have tickets! So we will watch the game in our warm cozy homes.
We are planning a trip to Arizona for a few days the end of the month. We will be visiting my SIL. That
means I can go to the Attic. I have heard about that shop and Chris at the blog, Tot Hill Farm Stitches, highly recommended it. Maybe I can solve my color problem with the old sampler there. Meanwhile, I am enjoying the CHS design. It is just perfect for Feb. full of hearts and flowers.
I hope you all have a great week-end! Stay warm and for us,dry! And of course, Go Hawks!
Lovely stitching and Go Seahawks!
ReplyDeleteArizona - sunshine - it sounds wonderful, especially with the added treat of a visit to a needlework shop.
ReplyDeleteI love the mittens in your header - I'm always looking for mittens to stitch to include with a copy of the book, The Mitten, that I like to give for babies' first Christmases.
go seahawks! enjoy the game!
ReplyDeleteLooks lime the Seahawks pulled it off! Isn't this a nasty storm?
ReplyDeleteColors in your new stitch are very pretty.
Save your pennies for the attic, you will not regret your trip there. Just remember, they are closed on Mondays. (I made that mistake a few years ago)
ReplyDeleteI just watched your Seahawks win. Oh how I want my Panthers to win tomorrow but I will not look forward to playing your guys if we win. We had storms here today too - crazy weather. Love your new start.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stitching!
ReplyDeletemany greetings from Hungary! Eva
First, congratulations to the Seahawks, another step closer.
ReplyDeleteLovely stitching❤️
Pretty stitching ! We watched the game yesterday .. glad you weren't sitting out in that weather ! Hope you feel better Barb !
ReplyDeleteLove the colors on this stitching! Was scanning the TV last night and came across the game. I didn't linger, but did see the weather! That looks like something we would experience, but with continuous snow! Its a good thing you weren't out in that, sitting in that weather would certainly have brought back that nasty virus. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteGlad the Seahawks came out on top, Barb!!! Since the Steelers had such a miserable season this year, I may as well root for them :)
ReplyDeleteLove your WIP--sure hope you feel 100% very soon...
Already love it, such nice colours!
ReplyDeleteOh hope you feel 100% real soon Barb! Looks like we are rivals next weekend! I don't follow football much but I have friends already trying to talk me into seeing the game. Since they are all doing that, I may bail so I can actually stitch and just get text updates. :)
ReplyDeleteJust glad that you enjoy stitching this little beauty. And hopefully you will soon be back to normal and feeling fine again.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better. Know you'll greatly enjoy your trip to The Attic.
ReplyDeleteI'm hearing from a lot of people about something nasty going around, I had my share last year so hoping to avoid it. I hope you feel better so you can enjoy your trip. The Attic is my LNS, so have a good time looking at all the samplers and things. I've been lucky to visit 2 out of state shops in the last 6 months - the only GOOD thing about my work travel LOL. Take care!
ReplyDeleteHope that you are better now Barb. Lots of flu/colds at this time of year. I feel lucky too that we are not in the Polar vortex, albeit it's very gray here. Have fun in Arizona and doing some major stash shopping!! I still have to try to go to Victoria to check out that store. I told my hubby about it and we are planning our cycling trip over there in August! Hugs
