Thanks to all of you who looked at the photos of my Olympic Stitch and the Desert Museum. I had planned to share my final desert pictures today and then the DH reminded me of the pictures we took with our small camera. They were all of the Attic. When I looked at them , I realized that I should have spent more time there! I missed so much!! I went with a specific agenda. By the time I had that finished, it was time to go. Now, I want to go back to see all that I missed !!!!!!
Because I have more charts than can be stitched in one lifetime, I didn't really look at the charts. I should have-who knows what I missed?!!
Look at those walls!!
Floss heaven!
Somehow I didn't see this at all!
I hope my stitching friends enjoyed this. I wonder if the people in Arizona know how lucky they are??!!
Thanks for joining me, more desert pictures tomorrow!
ok seriously drooling now at the gorgeous shop and that cabinet of stitched goodies *sigh ... need an LNS fix ...lol love mouse xxxxx
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks for sharing your pics of this beautiful needlework shop. Unfortunately, in New Zealand a shop like this would never survive - just not enough cross stitchers in our smallish population to support it.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics.
ReplyDeleteIt's enough to make a person drool! lol
Maybe some day I will get to go there.
Should I stsrt saving now? lol

What a great place, lovely photos ,I just wish I could visit:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely shop! I I might get lost in there!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - that alone is enough of a reason to visit Arizona. I could stay in a place like that all day. We have just one shop in Victoria that really sells cross stitch and supplies and I haunt it! A place like The Attic would be heaven!
ReplyDeleteMy stitching buddies and I just made plans to go here in July!! I can't believe I am going to this shop...It looks like the best in the world! Thanks for getting me all hepped up!!!!!!! Also, congratulations on your super bowl win!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think this must be what heaven looks like!! Laura
ReplyDeleteOh yes I enjoyed it. I think they should do a video and slowly go through the entire shop. Some shops struggle and many are lost, but this one looks invincible!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures of your trip to AZ. It looks like you had a fabulous time. Isn't that Attic store the best? My mom and I make a pilgrimage there about once a year, and it's one of my favorite things to do.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Marly, the Attic is here to stay! Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful pictures!
They are so lucky to have a store like this. There is so much to see it is almost overwhelming. I think that you need to go back and visit a few days in a row so that you see everything.
ReplyDeleteHow was the rest of your stay in Tucson? I feel like we needed to spend more time there.
I live only a few miles from this shop and it is the best in the country. They do have a website: Atticneedlework.com. And they ship! They are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOn this cold dreary snowy icey day in North Carolina, I long for the day I can go to the Attic!!! It's definitely on my bucket list!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Stitcher's Heaven! I so miss my long-gone LNS - thanks for sharing the fun,
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, that would be a shop right after my taste. Online shopping is perfectly OK but shopping in a real LNS seeing and touching and leafing through all the charts and kits is heaven.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a fun destination. I host a weekly party called "Oh, the PLACES I've been!" and I'd love to have you link this post. The link goes up on Thursdays 7 pm EST.

Oh you lucky girl, to have had the treat of visiting the wonderful ATTIC NEEDLRWORKS.....a stitcher's heaven! I long for the day that I can travel to that great shop too! Oh what fun!
ReplyDeleteWell I'm one of those lucky ones who lives in Phoenix and gets to call Attic Needlework my LNS. I think I'm personally responsible for helping them fund the new store LOL. I recently figured that at my current rate of finishes it will take me approximately 62 years to get my stash stitched! Oh well...part of my enjoyment is just enjoying having the charts and thinking of stitching them one day. I'm glad you had fun at the shop....I've visited 3 other fabulous shops in other states recently due to work travel and I was overwhelmed -each shop has it's own unique niche with so much to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHow nice that you got to see Attic Needlework in all its glory, Barb!! I hope I'm lucky enough to get there some day!
ReplyDeleteI have always heard good things about the Attic ~ and your pictures ~ I could spend days three just looking at everything!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fantastic shop, Barb, maybe one day I will get to Arizona!
