Memorial Day!

On this special day I would like to honor two special veterans that thankfully returned form Iraq.

 Our son was a Blackhawk pilot in Iraq.

Debbie was there very early in the war.  She was a member of the Signal Corps.

A very special thanks to all the brave young people who have served this country through many years and many wars.

    So great that they made it back safely and my heart goes out to those families who suffered loss in any war. Lest we forget!

    I know this I long shot but would your son happen to know MIke Rovins. He was a Blackhawk pilot in Iraq as well. He was in the group that lost several pilots. Just wondering. So glad yours came home okay. My son served in Bosnia and Afghanistan. I was a mess til he returned.

    As a DOD civilian and daughter of a USAF fighter pilot I know the sacrifices that all our troops make on a daily basis. I am so glad your son and DIL returned home safely - now you can breathe!! A huge thank you to all our troops. PS - Loved your sampler recreation!! Just beautiful!
