The plus and minus of winter in the Pacific NW
We had a beautiful day here in the Pacific NW. It was sunny and probably near 55. It doesn't get much better than that in Jan. So I ventured out into my yard. I found that my "Witch Hazel " tree is blooming up a storm! Just lovely!
Isn't that just lovely! Now comes the minus of our area! Have a look at the moss!!!!

The witch hazel is beautiful! I'll bet it smells nice, too! Hope Dad is doing well - I have yummy brownies for him!
ReplyDeleteThe witch hazel is pretty. The moss on the roof is really interesting. I'd never really thought about it, but with all the moisture in the area, I guess it's to be expected. Is that a normal yearly thing?
