The plus and minus of winter in the Pacific NW

We had a beautiful day here in the Pacific NW. It was sunny and probably near 55. It doesn't get much better than that in Jan. So I ventured out into my yard. I found that my "Witch Hazel " tree is blooming up a storm! Just lovely!

Isn't that just lovely! Now comes the minus of our area! Have a look at the moss!!!!

That is our roof!

Looks like we will need a power wash next spring!!! Hopefully we'll get another great day tomorrow!
