Happy Halloween!

Thanks for joining me on this festive day.  I hope you all have fun tonight.  We will have lots of trick-or-treaters.  My DH,DD, and SIL will join me on the porch passing out the goodies. The rain has finally stopped! Well, this is far from all the Halloween things I have stitched.  My little grandson has one for each year until this year-that means he has 8.  This collection does cover many years.  I first started stitching when I quit quilting because of arthritis in my hands so that goes way back. These are in no particular order. Thanks again for taking your time to look at them.

This little gem took one week of frogging!!! I did the whole second floor and as I worked to the top, it did not work. I had missed one stitch a so I could not reach the peak!

 My first Halloween stitch!

Obviously not a cross stitch but my favorite Halloween photo! He was two when this was taken.  Now he's 9.

 Again a very Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. What an amazing selection of designs, there are quite a few that really appeal to me. Over here in Scotland we used to say "going out 'guising" rather than "trick or treat" which has taken over in recent years. We also used to "dook" for apples which was good fun. Happy Hallowe'en.

I love all of your stitched pieces, but the last photo is for sure the cutest of them all!

Thanks so much for the card which arrived on Halloween itself. It is so cool, and every time I look at it I see some other small detail I haven't spotted before.

  13. Oh Barb, what a gorgeous collection of Halloween pieces. I know I couldn't pick a favourite, they are all so special. A real feast for the eyes.

Over here Halloween is getting a bit more popular, even in my rural region. But nothing compared to what you see. Yesterday evening we had two little teenies ringing at the door bell but of course I didn't have anything for them because this has never happened before, lol. Maybe I should be prepared better next year.
