A Slow Recovery!
We are making a slow recovery from the game. Everyone out here is very upset with the final call. Lynch is one of the best, if not the best, running back in the NFL. No one can understand why he was not given the ball with one yard to go. Well, this is my final football post. I'm really done with it for awhile. Back to wonderful , calming stitching! Thanks for all the kind words you all sent! I so appreciated them.

Well, my husband and I almost had some sort of stroke with that last play, so you are not alone...and we are from Illinois!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear the Hawks lost. :(
ReplyDeleteIt kind of ended like the Seahawk/Packer game.
Best of luck next year.

It was an unfortunate choice but being a New Englander, I was happy with the results. It was definitely a game worth watching!
ReplyDeleteBooooo!
ReplyDeleteWe feel your pain here in Pennsylvania, too, Barb... At least you have your stitching to comfort you!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry! I watched part of it here in the UK, but it was televised live and it was soooo late, I gave up and went to bed. Next year?? Irene xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry! Barb. It was so close
ReplyDeleteno kidding..maybe the worst call ever. how sad for the seahawks.
ReplyDeleteWhat an ending -- that last call may be the worst one I've ever seen. So sorry - I think drowning your sorrows in stitching is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteEven though they beat my Packers, I was rooting for them...still confused as to that play!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your team.
ReplyDeleteLynch doesn't talk to the press..his presence on the field says it all.His strength and agility are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI was yelling at the TV - I could not believe it. Hawks should have won.....that is all. Have a lovely day and back to the wonderful stitchings! :)
ReplyDeleteI am sending supportive thoughts!!!!! Total bummer! But you had a wonderfully fun season and next year should be great for you too. Enjoy the solace of stitching! and the great surroundings of your area.
ReplyDeleteWhat an unbelievable ending. :-( Ya gotta wonder what was going through the mind of that coach.
ReplyDeleteI was so disappointed. Also living in the PNW I love the Seahawks. The only thing I can think of is that the assumption was that of course we'd go to Lynch for that play so hopes were with the focus on him nobody would expect anything else
