A question

First, thanks to all of you who wished the Seahawks well!  Thank you!!!!! Here is a problem I am having on the blog.  I got many x-rated blog posts showing up on my list of posts. The DH and I are trying to figure out how to ban a blog from posting on my blog site.  I never gave this blog permission and don't have any idea how it got there.  We want to find a way to prevent these posting or delete them.   Any ideas?  There must have been 15 or more different posts.Oh, and by the way, we only looked at one to see if they were for real.  YUK!!!!!!! thanks for any help you can give me.

  1. No, luckily I have had no trouble like that. How annoying for you.

  2. I think the spam filter deters them - add it to your comments then people have to put in the numbers or letters they see.

  3. Oh dear - that is nasty! I don't have any solutions, beyond having a look at your spam filter, but this sounds like it goes beyond spam. You could contact Google about this and perhaps they might have a solution.

  4. I have had annoying random posts in the past Barb, nothing X rated though, just total gibberish ,so I marked one as spam in my email and as they are all similar they all go to the spam box now and I don't see them. They never actually made there way onto my blog,I deleted them before that happened, but I have put my blog to blog owners approval before posts appear on my blog as an extra safeguard.Hope this helps.

  5. If they are comments, not actual posts, you can change your settings to use verification, or only registered users (settings-comments) Under settings-basic, check to see that you are the only user under Permissions and delete any others.

  6. Oh no! That's horrible! I have no suggestions, but I hope you find out quick how to block them.

  7. you know what...i am giving you a BIG apology here!!! all i can say is i am glad i can still learn things in life. i have been listening to your corner back the last few days and i have become a BIG fan of his. this guy has passion! i don't know who would be talking about the seahawks much if it wasn't for him. he is a great player and very passionate and we need more guys like him. i know who i will be rooting for when the super bowl is played. i was such a dummy for reacting the way i did. i will never make this mistake again. you guys are so lucky to have him as a player!!!

  8. Verification can help, and also make sure to have your settings block anonymous commenters as well.
