The Grinch has paid me a visit this Christmas in the form of the flu!!!!!! and yes, I had the flu shot! So no beautiful candle light service at our Church, no dinner with friends, and no brunch with my DD and SIL. But I am still able to appreciate the joy and beauty of Christmas and it's amazing story of love. I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas and the Grinch stays far from your home.
I finally got this finished. It was stitched form last years JCS Christmas ornament issue.
At least I can look out the window from my couch and see this pretty little visitor, a varied thrush!
Again, have a wonderful Christmas. I'm back to my couch, tylenol, and tissues!!
Barb, I am so sorry to hear about your flu! Hope you soon will get over it! Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!

ReplyDeleteI thought we are getting those shots so we do not get sick... I hope you're feeling better now, have an awesome New Year!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I had a conversation last night about how doctors and pharmacists are pushing the flu shots, but anyone and everyone who gets one GETS the flu! What good is that! Giving the flu to people who would otherwise NOT have gotten it?!? We don't get it, and we will NOT get that shot! Rest easy over the holiday... Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Barb that you got the flu. Hopefully once you are feeling better you can do some celebrating with family and friends.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful 2015!
Oh No! I hope that you felt better for Christmas! Sweet ornament!
ReplyDeleteBarb,I sympathise. What was a respiratory infection has turned into a two week virus fest. I eventually lost my voice on Monday and it is still croaky. The flu vacc. has saved a bad asthma attack though. It didn't stop me appreciating the last two days of family gatherings.
ReplyDeleteHope you are on the mend and will be healthy for New Year
Hope you are feeling better Barb. I have got to the annoying clearing of throat cough now.
ReplyDeleteI hope for a healthier start to the New Year for you.
