Back Home!

We arrived home last evening from the Memorial Service for the S.B.A.'s brother. I would like to thank each of you for your wonderful comments of condolence. I wish I could respond to each comment personally.  I was able to get home in time for the Carpal Tunnel surgery today. At this point , I am unable to type, so the S.B.A. is typing this for me. I have to brag a bit about the him. He gave a wonderful eulogy for his brother at the service. I was extremely proud of him.

I worked like crazy on the John Foster during the trip, especially on the plane. All that I have left to do is the Bee skeep, the flowers on the right side and the border. It will have to wait until the hand heals. Thank you again for taking the time to read this blog. I appreciate it so much.

  1. I'm so glad you made it to and from Wisconsin with no problems, Barb! It sounds like your husband and his brother had a very close relationship. I'm sure he'll be sorely missed.

And here you are posting a blog update the very date you had surgery--now that's impressive :) I hope your "assistant" is waiting on you hand and foot--take advantage of him while you have the chance...

Your progress on John Foster is wonderful! Take good care of yourself now--hope you're not in too much pain. Hopefully, it heals quickly...

  7. John Foster is looking good! I admire people who can give a eulogy because I would just be blubbering and sobbing all over the place. Glad you are on the mend! Now go sit in the garden and admire the flowers and let the sun heal you!
