this was a very difficlut area for ships and many went down at the mouth of the Columbia.
On the way to the Fort there is this great statue of the Native woman who helped Lewis and Clark.
The SBA agreed to this photo so you could see how big the trees are.
There were many informational signs.
This replica fort was built by the National Park Service.
I'm glad we aren't spending the night here!

Maybe it rained a lot but the view was lovely.
This jetty was built to keep the sand out of the main channel of the Columbia.
From this platform you have wonderful views of the Pacific and the entrance to the Columbia.
